Apgujeong - Korean Resto
One of my guilty pleasures is food. I love Korean food... or make that Dolsot Bibimbap. It is a rice topping dish that is served in a hot stone pot. I am slowly trying out all the Korean restos in town and each and every time I drop by a new place, I always check out their bibimbap.
This is the resto in SM City Cebu, Apgujeong.
Here is the dolsot bibimbap (I always forget taking a photo before mixing it all up), P260 :
Tastewise, it was so-so. The meat included was tender and I was surprised that they mixed in dried seaweed flakes (which I looove to eat). It came with 2 appetizers, non-refillable which is unlike all Korean restos I have been to which serve 6 appetizers and all are refillable. The kimchi they served I believe wasn't properly pickled and the egg appetizer was all rubbery and cold (seemed like stale ones).
And here is the Bulgogi bento, P165 :
This yellowy sheet at the bottom left is the rubbery egg I mentioned.
I don't think I will go back to this Korean resto since although the taste is okay, the value for money is not that much. I would prefer going to Yu Hee Jeon or the other Korean resto whose name I forgot.

the end of the world..not!
Supposedly, there was this text running around that there will be a huge quake that's gonna hit the Philippines today and the tropical island life that we all know would end!!!! As we were changing into our
scrub suits, some of my friends said that the ground shook... I didn't notice because I was too busy putting on my pants and wiggling into my top...
Turns out, this huge container van fell off/ jumped off the truck that was pulling it and crashed into the road beside our hospital, thus the loud crash (which I didn't notice) and the earth movement.
So... that was the closest thing to having a huge earthquake ruin our Friday.

Attack of the Nerds
As I passed by the huge glass windows of some computer/tutorial store in the mall, I saw these posters of those students who have taken Kumon training. Kumon is this some type of training in math of some sorts. As I looked closer, I realized that math geniuses can really be stereotyped. Based on the pictures they are :
1. Chinese
2. 50% probability of wearing eyeglasses
3. Guys nearly have identical hairstyles

hurt & love
"do you know what happens
when you hurt people?"
they may begin to love you less
and eventually,
they may begin to forget
that they loved you once..
